Howzit! fibertime™ installs a router in every home that has a municipal/Eskom electrical box.
Make sure sign up when a representative from fibertime™ knocks on your door.
Look out for our information desks in your community to find out when installations will happen in your street.

How long does installation take after I sign up?
Howzit mtase! Once you’ve signed up, our team will schedule your installation based on your street’s rollout plan.
It usually takes a few days - we move fast! You’ll get a free router + UPS battery when we install.

What does unlimited mean? / how much can I do with fibertime™?

When you’re on fibertime™, unlimited means no caps, no limits, and no throttling - you can use as much data as you like, for the days you’ve paid for. It's like a buffet, but with internet – use as much as you want, all day long!

Can I connect more than one device to fibertime™?
Yes, you can easily connect more devices in your home to @fibertime™.
Visit fibertime.app, login, open the menu in the top right and select my devices, add the device and buy or link a fibertime™ voucher to it.
Can I use fibertime™ on any device?
Yebo! 😎 As long as your device can connect to WiFi, you’re good to go - phones, tablets, laptops, Smart TVs, even gaming consoles.
Just connect to @fibertime™, log in, and - you’re online with unlimited internet.
How do I connect a smart TV?
It’s easier than making pap, chomi! 😎

Will my neighbour not steal my data if we are connected to the same router
Don’t stress, chomi! Even if you’re near the same router as someone else, when you connect to @fibertime™, you’re in control.
Your fibertime™ access is linked to your cellphone number, so only you can use your voucher, manage your connection, and control your devices.
You’re in full control😉
Can I get fibertime™ on my pocket modem to take with me when I travel?
Eish mtase, we wish! fibertime™ is a fiber connection, meaning that you need to be in a fibertime™ zone to connect to the internet.
Unfortunately, you can’t take fibertime™ with you when you travel, but you can use it all over your community when you can see @fibertime™ in your wifi settings.

Can I take my fibertime™ router with me when I move?
Howzit! Your fibertime™ router is linked to your current address, so it can’t be moved to a new home.
If fibertime™ is available at your new place and there's no router installed yet, we’ll hook you up with a new one.

Can I move my router to another house or community?
Eish no, mtase 😅. Your fibertime™ router is linked to your specific home and community.
If you move to a new community, WhatsApp us on 078 886 1090 and we’ll check if fibertime™ is live there.
Each router is installed and activated for a specific home.
Can I stop using fibertime™ for a while and return later?
Yes, mtase! 🙌 fibertime™ is totally flexible - its pay-as-you-go, so you only pay for the days you need.
If you don’t top up, you won’t be charged - no stress, no penalties.
When you’re ready to get back online, just buy a new voucher and connect to @fibertime like before. Easy!

The fibertime™ schools programme is all about empowering young minds with the life skills they need to thrive in today’s digital world. We partner with schools in communities with fibertime™ to inspire and equip learners with essential knowledge - from internet safety, responsible online behaviour, digital careers and so much more.

Can fibertime™ work during loadshedding?
Yebo chomi! Every fibertime™ home gets a free UPS battery with their router to help you stay connected even when there’s loadshedding.
As long as your router is plugged into the UPS you’ll stay online for up to 6 hours.
